Monday, September 14, 2009:
I began by spending the morning online. At lunchtime, my son begged the internet connection from me, so I turned to my workday. I have a hectic life-schedule coming up and am unsure when I will be working and not, and how long for, so decided to get as much as I could done today. I tidied my files and updated my resume to start with. Next, I worked on some interview questions and then 2 work emails to be sent. I then wrote a blog, fed the pigeons, and wrote another blog. After my neighbor scared away my friends, I typed up some of my notes, sadly. I then had to lie down for a bit, due to a fever.

I nipped online for a couple of hours, then wrote a letter and typed up some notes after my shower. Once again, I am not having a proper workday today - just doing a few bits n bots. (Not knowing how long before you move overseas, nor for how long you will go, nor whether or not you will have a home to return to afterward, or whether or not your son is going with you or remaining behind alone, is a trifle distracting from concentrated work efforts.) I then began to process photos - I need to save the best CD and delete the rest and have several thousand to plod thru.
Wednesday, September 16, 2009:
I began at 6-30am, by going online - but a sinus fever & headache took me back to bed at 8-30. Around lunchtime, I returned to tidy files, but was still feeling queasy & unsettled. I then wrote 2 blogs. I then began deleting more unwanted photos again to relax my mind for a while.
After lying down with a fever headache and then accompanying my son to make his name-change enquiries, I wrote three letters - alas, they were not work letters but about the situation of going to take care of my father.

After a while online, I decided to commence a crappy course that it was compulsory for me to take. It was suited to conventional 9-5 suit-dudes situated in managerial positions within huge companies - not at-home, slop-in-yr-pj's with a half empty coffee cup in one hand freelancers in sole-trading telecommuting businesses! It totally put my brains to sleep and gave me a headache - literally. To recuperate, I showered and then tidied my files, wrote a blog, and typed up some notes. I then sorted photos for a bit and took a Buddhism class to fill my brains with GOOD input. Another wasted workday…
Friday, I netted…
Sunday, September 20, 2009:
Online to start with - due to having to pick up an email and print out a form my son sent to me as his PC has no printer - I left the net by noon. I had a tonne of work to climb thru - but began by tidying my files. Next, I wrote a blog and 1.5 articles before my life-break.
I came back to write 2 blogs and type up some notes. This was incessantly interrupted by my son who was running in and out of the house all day to do such as find a JP, get money from the ATM, buy a money order, post a letter, pay me his share of the bills for the fortnight, discuss putting a 4 sale ad in the paper, and buy himself some ice cream, etc…
Eventually, I managed to write an article - this time sans interruption. I then proceeded to write a blog - with interuption. Determined to get a little more work done tonight, due to a busy week lain ahead of me, I proceeded to write another 3 blogs and 2 articles, and then type up some more of my notes before closing off the workday. I had to, as I had another interruption - the mailman delivering a pile of forms I had to fill out re my son's continued income, sigh...
